SEAN GREENLEE
Like many shooters my father started me young. He was a pistol and rifle competitive shooter for the US Air Force and a tactical instructer for the USAF Military Police, which was his primary duty.
I too chose a military path joining the US Marine Corps. I earned both rifle and pistol expert badges, which I maintained during my time in the Corps. I made three deployments, including one combat deployment.
After my separation from the Corps I became a police officer. There I was introduced to the difference between armed conflict in a foreign land and self defense shooting, and this has become my focus as a self defense instructor.
I hold instructor certifications from both the NRA and the USCCA, I am certified to instruct Concealed Carry and Home Defense Fundamentals along with Women’s Handgun & Self-Defense Fundamentals. I also spend time in other instructors classes, sharpening my own skills and learning new ones. There is usually a different, and sometimes better, way to do something and the more you train with others the more you will absorb what is out there.

Like many people, my firearm journey began when I was a kid. My dad started me off on a bb gun and I moved up to larger calibers as I became more comfortable. I began target shooting and eventually moved to hunting. As I got older, I got away from training and shooting while I was in college and even once out. I was introduced to Sean in 2014 through a mutual friend and after a few conversations discovered we had a mutual interest, firearms! After talking about it, Sean asked me to join him in instructing at Tiburon Tactical and of course I jumped at the opportunity.
I am not only a certified instructor for the NRA, but for the USCCA as well. Through the NRA I hold certifications in Basic Pistol Instruction and through the USCCA I am certified to instruct Concealed Carry and Home Defense Fundamentals along with Women’s Handgun & Self-Defense Fundamentals.
